The Princess and the Frog (Digital Version) by kataylove The Princess and the Frog (Digital Version) by kataylove
For some reason I was just thinking of The Princess and the Frog and this came to my head. My favorite scenes in the movie are when Tiana and Naveen are dancing as frogs and Naveen realizes he's fallen in love, and when they finally become human again. Such a cute movie.

So I already drew this same drawing with colored pencils [link], but I decided create the same drawing using digital painting on Photoshop CS3. I just been wanting to practice using this medium and using a pen and tablet. I know this isn't perfect, but I am still learning and I am actually really proud of it. I know its not COMPLETELY new because I already did it before, but I hope you like this one too or appreciate it in a different way. Thank you so much! Comments and faves are always welcome! :) :)

It's a good drawing, but the bottom of the humans is a bit abrupt, and makes it seem like two separate pictures photo shopped together. You might try a gradual fade where their hips are, blending it with the background to make it less jarring. I love the flowers though, very pretty.

Thank you for that :thanks: I hadn't thought of it being so abrupt but I now see what you're saying! I actually just changed it to fix it... I didn't make it where the hips are, but I blended the bottom in a little more with the background. What do you think? A little better?

Much better! With the blending, it fades and allows the eyes to adjust to the next part of the picture. It looks like the two couples are meant to be part of the same picture now. I also just noticed Tiana's veil; I love how you colored it!

Yeah you're so right! And thank you, I actually saved doing the veil for last because I had no idea how I was going to do it, so I'm glad it turned out good :)
